How Invisalign Teen Works
Invisalign Teen treatment consists of a series of clear plastic aligners made specifically for your teen’s orthodontic needs. The aligners are equipped with blue-to-clear color-changing technology to help your teen know how long that aligner has been worn. Each aligner is worn for two weeks and returned to our office. At that time, we will replace it with the next aligner in your series. These aligners are to be removed only to eat, drink, brush, floss, or clean. This system comes with, on average, between 18 and 30 aligners and six free replacement aligners in case one is lost or breaks. Your teen will only have to visit our orthodontics office every 8-10 weeks.
